![]() ![]() ![]() My only advice is if you got a problem with it find a way around it if the first reason I listed is indeed their reason for setting this up the way they did just make 2 folders one for the base game and one for the expansion then place ALL the files installed into the folder you created for the expansion and then find all the files for ONLY the base game and place ONLY those into the folder you created for the base game, though I have no idea if that will work but it is worth a try. Because of the turn limit for conquer the world campaigns, I find myself having to storm capitals to bring down a nation as quickly as possible in order to defeat them all in the time limit, instead of being able to just relax and take one territory at a time and actually being able to utilize strategic positioning. ![]() Though you know what those are my guesses as to why you cant play the base game and I have no way to prove if those are indeed their reasons for doing what they did. They probably also figured who would want to play the base game when they have the expansion which allows them to do all the stuff they could in the base game but with all the things added in by the expansion. My best guess they wanted to try to save your hard drive space they probably have this setup to were they would have to make two seperate folders for the base game and the expansion if people wanted to have the two games seperate, which would mean a number of art assets would have to be installed twice once in the folder of the base game and once in the folder of the expansion. ![]()
